The important thing is that both my children enjoyed going to their classes very much as they had made Science so interesting and fun for them. There was no one lesson they dragged to attend. Thumbs Up to both of them!

I use to think that tuitions are boring lessons where we just do worksheets non-stop but since I joined Tinkerlab, I have seen that lessons can be fun but also effective at the same time!

We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Allan for his engaging and effective lessons at the tuition centre for the past three years. Our child enjoyed every session and always came home excited to tell us about Mr. Allan’s funny and entertaining teaching style. The intensive revision sessions were invaluable in helping our child prepare thoroughly for her PSLE, and we greatly appreciated the comprehensive notes and the accessible online portal. Thank you, Mr. Allan, for making learning enjoyable and for your dedication to your students’ success!

The concepts were clearly delivered and that helped my children to effectively apply their knowledge and enjoy Science. Thanks much Mdm Tan and Mr Allan for your dedication.

Before we even enrolled into the centre, Mr Allan offered to review my daughter’s paper and wrote down learning points for her to review. Lessons with Mr Allan were interesting. The experiments made lessons even more fun and interactive for the kids, and this is what differentiates Tinkerlab from the regular tuition centre.

Teacher Allan was able to identify my child’s areas of weaknesses in maths and science. He is very patient and is able to help motivate Royce and overcome his insecurities in the subjects. Being detailed in explanations coupled with experiments, his lessons are interesting and easy to understand. Royce enjoys attending Teacher Allan’s lessons, his stories and his humor every week. Thank you so much, Teacher Allan, for your patience and guidance towards Royce.

Mr Allan is a fun teacher who makes jokes almost every lesson but makes sure we stay focus on our work despite his impossible-not-to-laugh jokes. During lesson time, Mr Allan also has science related toys based on the topic and allows us to play and learn how the toys work. His experiments during lesson time is also fun and he has almost every equipment you need to complete an experiment. Tinkerlab is the right place to go if you want to learn science in a fun way!

Dedicated teachers who went the extra mile. Mdm Tan make the effort to understand my girls’ strengths & weaknesses. Clear explanations and comprehensive notes serves well to prep for PSLE.

My girl was with another centre but attended Mdm Tan’s holiday programme. After attending, she told me she wanted to switch to Tinkerlab as she finds Mdm Tan very engaging and the lessons enjoyable. After each weekly lesson, my girl would tell me excitedly about what Mdm Tan taught that day. She eventually scored an A* in PSLE! Thank you Mdm Tan!

The lessons helped me thoroughly understand many of the primary school syllabus science concepts, which has aided me in my secondary school studies. Mdm Tan and Mr Allan tend to teach in legitimately fun and interesting ways that really get the concepts into your head. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my 4 years of primary school science tuition here.

The lessons here are very engaging. I look forward to the lessons every week and would like to thank the effort put into every lesson by the teachers. Every lesson is full of fun and laughter which was one of the things that motivated me to carry on.

Both Mdm Tan & Mr. Allan are good and patient Teachers.

My son gained confidence and interest in the subject under teacher Allan’s coaching. He is passionate in teaching and he also replies us via whatsapps whenever we have queries! Really appreciate it 👍

From getting just pass results in science to an A eventually in PSLE, we thanked Teacher Allan in helping her improve her understanding of the topics and also in her answering techniques. He is easily approachable and always encouraging. Thank you again to Teacher Allan.

Tinkerlab was being highly recommended to me by a friend. Science is never an easy subject due to answers have to be answered “scientifically” and not the English comprehension way. Being in Tinkerlab for 2 years, it has been proven that Tinkerlab has not disappointed me at all with Zach scoring A*s consistently for his P3 SA2, P4 SA1 and SA2! He understands how to answer the questions the science way and has definitely proven that this choice was mine was never wrong! Keep up the great work Tinkerlab and would highly recommend here if your child needs science tuition…

We were introduced to Tinkerlab through a friend’s recommendation, and Wee-Ann began her classes in February 2023. In addition to her regular sessions, she participated in a two-week workshop in June and a booster class in September. We enrolled Wee-Ann in science tuition after she achieved an AL4 in P5. Following her time at Thinkerlab, she improved to an AL2 in Prelim & PSLE.
Wee-Ann thoroughly enjoys the lessons at Tinkerlab, finding them interesting, engaging, and enjoyable. Mr. Allan consistently addresses her questions, patiently explaining concepts she’s unsure about.
One aspect we appreciate is the flexibility of the lessons – if a class is missed, there are alternative sessions available for makeup.
Overall, I find Tinkerlab provides an environment where children can develop both confidence and a keen interest in science.

Mr Allan is a fun, engaging and humorous teacher. He’s always eager to share his knowledge and is able to clarify all doubts. During this pandemic, he even made an effort to mark online and conduct additional zoom sessions to ensure that all his pupils were ready for the National exams. Thank you!

Both Mr Allan and Mdm Tan have made Sandana improve in her science and I am very thankful for that.

My daughter has a poor understanding of Science before tuition. Through words of mouth, we signed her up with Tinker Lab. With engaging hands-on practices and inspiring teachers, her like for Science improved, and it showed in her recent exam where she got A! I would say Allan’s teaching method works! Highly recommended!

The lessons have reinforced the understanding of his Science concepts and refined his answering techniques. He enjoys Mr Allan’s lessons and looks forward to going for his weekly classes.

I enrolled my boy into tinker lab only during circuit breaker when I realised he is not able to cope alone and PSLE is approaching. Though a short time, with the help of Mdm tan, his answering technique has improved greatly! Thank you to Mdm Tan for willing to accept him into the class despite the short runway to PSLE

Pei Hong really enjoyed attending Tinkerlab lessons. Mdm Tan and Mr Allan always make the lessons so fun and engaging for the students. Really kudos to their great patience and passion for teaching. Heartfelt thanks for keeping Pei Hong’s passion for science always high and consistently scoring AL 1. Thank you very very much!

We have been recommended by a ex-MOE teacher to this school and had been with them for a year for my PSLE child in 2020. The lessons with the school were great. Mdm Tan is very patient and caring teacher with full of knowledge. She conducts experiment with the kids to arouse their interest. Her lessons is very interactive. Whenever we have any doubts on any topic, she will response to our queries even late at night. Very diligent and dedicated teacher. Now my younger child is with her, starting her P4 science.

I am glad to have enrolled both my girls at Tinklelab. Their grades have improved after attending Tinkerlab class. The lesson is conducted in a fun and enjoyable way and you can hear the children’s laughter during class. I think children learn best when they enjoy the lesson.

Mdm Tan is a very kind teacher who always looks out for her students’ passion in learning. She will strive to answer every question about science that you may have. While I was being taught at Tinkerlab, I felt that after each lesson, I became clearer and clearer about each topic. Tinkerlab has helped me to become better at Science, and do well in school.
If you are looking for a good tuition centre for Science, Tinkerlab is a great option that you should consider!

We went to Tinkerlab because Jade was struggling with her open ended questions and overall science results. Mr Allan and Mdm Tan have been absolutely wonderful. Jade takes classes with Mr Allan and his lesson was always engaging yet effective. They allow the kids to have hands on experiments which further enhance the concepts and nurture a love for the subject. Outside of lesson, when I need help while revising with Jade, Mr Allan was always there to help and coach me as a parent on helping her with her revision. Notes provided are comprehensive and very exam focus, and easy for revision. He is committed to helping her improve. Jade joined tinker lab when she was pri4 with a al 4 grade and left Tinkerlab with a PSLE grade of AL1 – confident and loving the subject.
Thank you Mr Allan!

Kayden enjoys the class and most importantly, he is able to understand what Mdm Tan has taught him and find them useful.
And Mdm Tan is an attentive teacher and she is able to pin point the good as well as bad points of my son although my son only joined her class for a few months. I believe she can help my son to excel. Thank you Mdm Tan.

Tinkerlab reignited my interest in Science and Math and helped me improve from AL4/5 to AL1/2 within 3 months. Mr Allan’s and Mdm Tan’s lessons are super engaging and constantly filled with laughter. They explain concepts in easy-to-understand terms and provide effective tips in preparing for PSLE. I will strongly recommend Tinkerlab to anyone who is looking for excellent tutors.

Mdm Tan prepared her own materials and exposed the students to so many different practice questions and helped them tackle the usual pitfalls, using whichever answering techniques they were taught in by their own school. Mdm Tan would also tell jokes in class so it was never boring. My daughter’s ability to answer open-ended questions improved a lot and she did very well in her Science PSLE under Mdm Tan’s guidance.

Madam Tan is patient, kind & understanding towards the student’s needs. Whenever a student needs help, she will try her best to explain in order for the student to understand the lesson’s contents. Madam Tan is also willing to help with questions beyond class time ie responding to messages after class. She also goes above & beyond in providing mentorship regarding school placement. She has helped my kid not only improve greatly in science, but also grasp a better understanding of concepts. Overall, kudos to Madam Tan.

Mr Allan is very flexible as we can arrange replacement class easily. He also conduct his lessons in a fun and engaging way.

Teacher Allan is funny and makes the lesson interesting. The experiments conducted during lessons helped my daughter understand the concepts taught well. She looks forward to her classes all the time.

Prior to attending Mr Allan’s lessons, my girl didn’t like science and was not doing well. Our priority was to get her interested in the subject. She loves Mr Allan’s lessons – always fun and engaging. And she is always looking forward to the experiments. Now she likes Science. The bonus – she scored AL2 in EYE. We are really thankful. By the way, we really love how organized the files are and the detailed feedback given on her school assessments. 🙂

My 3 sons were with Tinkerlab and have all scored As in Science for their PSLE.
Thanks to Mr Allan and Mdm Tan’s engaging and effective teaching methods.
I have seen the 3 of them struggled with the subject and especially with higher primary science syllabus (esp section B of the paper!)
But the lessons were clear and so engaging that they not only improved but looked forward to the classes.
I find the notes exceptionally useful especially for last mile revisions.
Thank you!

My daughter had always enjoyed Mr Allan and Mdm Tan’s lesson, the experiments had made the lesson interactive and easier to absorb. She has since improved her grades. Thank you.

My child said Mr Allan is her favourite science teacher. She managed to improve from AL5 in P5 to AL2 in PSLE. The centre provides very structured worksheets and notes which are very helpful for both parents and student. Mr Allan was also very willing to answer or clarify parents’ questions during the time before exams to help them prepare their child for exams.

Xavier has achieved grade B after attending this Science tuition class. Mr Allan has given plenty of revision notes and explains questions thoroughly with live demonstrations, videos, experiments and online MCQs. After each examination, my son will always pass his exam papers to Mr Allan and he will photocopy it and write down the explanation of each wrong question and it’s very useful for study. Highly Recommended this tuition. Thank You Mr Allan.

Leonard has been with Tinkerlab from P3 to P6. Unlike his other subjects, I have never thought of switching him to another tuition centre for his Science subject as I felt very assured as a parent when I see that my child is learning well and enjoys attending lessons at the centre.

Even though some of the lessons can be very strenuous, I feel that these lessons really help me in understanding the concepts of the primary 4 & 5 school syllabus. Mdm Tan has also taught me in a very fun way and sometimes, she would bring a real-life model of an experiment for us to learn more! 🙂

The study notes and practice worksheets provided during lessons were sufficient to help my son revise for his exams. My son enjoys attending lessons at Tinkerlab and is able to understand the Science concepts taught and apply the concepts to answer the different question types.

Doing well in science is not about knowing the concepts, but also about answering correctly to demonstrate understanding. Tinker Lab provides very good coaching and now my daughter can formulate correct answers.

Whenever we have any questions on science, we would be able to clarify our doubts with the teacher. The teacher would not give us short answers to our questions, but instead give us a detailed explanation and would make sure we understood the problem. The teachers there are very nice and patient with students who are struggling with their science. they also teach very good answering techniques on science open ended, which helped me a lot during my science examinations. They go through every single mistake that the students make and make sure that we do not have any doubts after we leave the classroom. The teachers there are very hardworking and cool.

Mdm Tan’s lesson are always filled with fun. Although the lessons are tiring, I still improve because of Tinkerlab. From a low B to a high B in just a few months. I highly recommend Tinkerlab. Thank You Tinkerlab!!

Science is a challenging subject. However, Mr Allan is able to make the lessons fun and alive with his experiments and humorous explanation such that learning is internalised. Mr Allan’s quick response and clear explanation to queries we have on external exam papers are very helpful especially on days leading up to the examinations. Thank you Tinkerlab!
