The lessons here are very engaging. I look forward to the lessons every week and would like to thank the effort put into every lesson by the teachers. Every lesson is full of fun and laughter which was one of the things that motivated me to carry on.

My 3 older children attended Tinkerlab and did very well for their PSLE Science. My 4th child is attending now and is always looking forward to the interesting and engaging lesson. Thanks much to Mdm Tan and Mr Allan for their dedication.

Mr Wan has a great sense of humour and his lessons are always fun and interesting. He covers each topic in details with hands on, experiments and discussions. Lucas joined Tinkerlab at the end of Primary 4 and within weeks, showed clearer understanding of his Science concepts. Science has always been one of Shireen’s favourite subjects ever since she came into Mr Allan’s class. She is constantly telling us how engaging and fun the lessons are and we are thankful she has developed such passion for science. Once again, thank you.

My girl was with another centre but attended Mdm Tan’s holiday programme. After attending, she told me she wanted to switch to Tinkerlab as she finds Mdm Tan very engaging and the lessons enjoyable. After each weekly lesson, my girl would tell me excitedly about what Mdm Tan taught that day. She eventually scored an A* in PSLE! Thank you Mdm Tan!

Even though some of the lessons can be very strenuous, I feel that these lessons really help me in understanding the concepts of the primary 4 & 5 school syllabus. Mdm Tan has also taught me in a very fun way and sometimes, she would bring a real-life model of an experiment for us to learn more! 🙂

Mr Allan is good in making the 2hrs of lessons interesting and with some experiments to enhance the understanding. The explanation is concise and easy to understand. Science is a challenging subject. However, Mr Allan is able to make the lessons fun and alive with his experiments and humorous explanation such that learning is internalised. Tinkerlab was being highly recommended to me by a friend. Science is never an easy subject due to answers have to be answered “scientifically” and not the English comprehension way. Being in Tinkerlab for 2 years, it has been proven that Tinkerlab has not disappointed me at all with Zach scoring A*s consistently for his P3 SA2, P4 SA1 and SA2! Warren Sng had attended teacher Allan math tutorial class . He enjoyed his lesson although he had started only few weeks ago.
Teacher Allan is a responsible and caring teacher who encouraged student to ask questions and would not hesitate to answer any questions patiently and with clarity.
In addition , he explains the answer in detail and simplifies the process to make it easier for Warren to understand. Warren enjoyed his teaching .

We were introduced to Tinkerlab through a friend’s recommendation, and Wee-Ann began her classes in February 2023. In addition to her regular sessions, she participated in a two-week workshop in June and a booster class in September. We enrolled Wee-Ann in science tuition after she achieved an AL4 in P5. Following her time at Thinkerlab, she improved to an AL2 in Prelim & PSLE.
Wee-Ann thoroughly enjoys the lessons at Tinkerlab, finding them interesting, engaging, and enjoyable. Mr. Allan consistently addresses her questions, patiently explaining concepts she’s unsure about.
One aspect we appreciate is the flexibility of the lessons – if a class is missed, there are alternative sessions available for makeup.
Overall, I find Tinkerlab provides an environment where children can develop both confidence and a keen interest in science.

I use to think that tuitions are boring lessons where we just do worksheets non-stop but since I joined Tinkerlab, I have seen that lessons can be fun but also effective at the same time!

Jazreel has attended Teacher Allan Sci class since she is in Pri 3. We have noticed a big change of her interest in Science. My child said Mr Allan is her favourite science teacher. She managed to improve from AL5 in P5 to AL2 in PSLE. The centre provides very structured worksheets and notes which are very helpful for both parents and student. Mr Allan was also very willing to answer or clarify parents’ questions during the time before exams to help them prepare their child for exams.

Madam Tan is patient, kind & understanding towards the student’s needs. Whenever a student needs help, she will try her best to explain in order for the student to understand the lesson’s contents. Madam Tan is also willing to help with questions beyond class time ie responding to messages after class. She also goes above & beyond in providing mentorship regarding school placement. She has helped my kid not only improve greatly in science, but also grasp a better understanding of concepts. Overall, kudos to Madam Tan.

Rachel enjoys attending the lessons as Mr Allan makes them come alive. Naturally, Science is her favourite subject. She is also able to tackle the open ended questions in the various tests with ease. Kudos to Mr Allan!

Whenever we have any questions on science, we would be able to clarify our doubts with the teacher. The teacher would not give us short answers to our questions, but instead give us a detailed explanation and would make sure we understood the problem. The teachers there are very nice and patient with students who are struggling with their science. they also teach very good answering techniques on science open ended, which helped me a lot during my science examinations. They go through every single mistake that the students make and make sure that we do not have any doubts after we leave the classroom. The teachers there are very hardworking and cool.

The lessons helped me thoroughly understand many of the primary school syllabus science concepts, which has aided me in my secondary school studies. Mdm Tan and Mr Allan tend to teach in legitimately fun and interesting ways that really get the concepts into your head. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my 4 years of primary school science tuition here.

I enrolled my boy into tinker lab only during circuit breaker when I realised he is not able to cope alone and PSLE is approaching. My daughter has a poor understanding of Science before tuition. Through words of mouth, we signed her up with Tinker Lab. Xavier has achieved grade B after attending this Science tuition class. Mr Allan has given plenty of revision notes and explains questions thoroughly with live demonstrations, videos, experiments and online MCQs. After each examination, my son will always pass his exam papers to Mr Allan and he will photocopy it and write down the explanation of each wrong question and it’s very useful for study. We went to Tinkerlab because Jade was struggling with her open ended questions and overall science results. Mr Allan and Mdm Tan have been absolutely wonderful. Jade takes classes with Mr Allan and his lesson was always engaging yet effective. Mr Allan is a fun teacher who makes jokes almost every lesson but makes sure we stay focus on our work despite his impossible-not-to-laugh jokes. During lesson time, Mr Allan also has science related toys based on the topic and allows us to play and learn how the toys work. His experiments during lesson time is also fun and he has almost every equipment you need to complete an experiment. Tinkerlab is the right place to go if you want to learn science in a fun way!
