Science Enrichment & Programme
We conduct enrichment programme for primary school children at our centre.
Robotics
The children learn how to construct robot and control it using a remote control. We use the set Huna Robo from Korea to conduct our lessons.
There are two Robotics courses we run usually.
Robo Soccer
It’s either a 2-vs-2 or a 3-vs-3 setting, where children pit themselves against one another to score.
Robo Warz
It’s a 2-vs-2 setting, where pupils achieve victory by either eliminating 5 cones from the opponents’ territory or deactivate the other two opponents 3 times each.
Our Trainer
Our trainer, Mr Allan, was a Robotics CCA teacher-in-charge and is trained in Lego NXT and Huna Robo. He had guided his team to win in Lego National Junior Robotics Competition (NJRC), National Inter-Primary Infocomm Challenge (iPiC) organised by Raffles Institution as well as overall champion in World Robo Masters Cup 2010 and 2011.

School Enrichment & Workshop
We offer school Science Workshop and enrichment for primary school pupils.
Our workshop includes Robotics, Science Camp, Topical Workshop, Science Ernichment.
We can even customise to integrate with the syllabus.

Science Online Portal
All the P5 and P6 children at our centre are given an online MCQ account where they can access exam-type questions in their own free time via desktop, handphone or tablet.
Upon completion of test, explanation for both errors and correct responses is given and children can log in to view and read about their past error.
Children who attended our PSLE June Workshop are also given access to more questions on all PSLE topics.
We also offer the portal service to schools and individuals.

Whenever we have any questions on science, we would be able to clarify our doubts with the teacher. The teacher would not give us short answers to our questions, but instead give us a detailed explanation and would make sure we understood the problem. The teachers there are very nice and patient with students who are struggling with their science. they also teach very good answering techniques on science open ended, which helped me a lot during my science examinations. The centre provides very structured worksheets and notes which are very helpful for both parents and student. My 3 sons were with Tinkerlab and have all scored As in Science for their

We were introduced to Tinkerlab through a friend’s recommendation, and Wee-Ann began her classes in

In addition to her regular sessions, she participated in a two-week workshop in June and a booster class in September. We enrolled Wee-Ann in science tuition after she achieved an AL4 in P5. Following her time at Thinkerlab, she improved to an AL2 in Prelim & PSLE.
Wee-Ann thoroughly enjoys the lessons at Tinkerlab, finding them interesting, engaging, and enjoyable. Mr. Allan consistently addresses her questions, patiently explaining concepts she’s unsure about.
One aspect we appreciate is the flexibility of the lessons – if a class is missed, there are alternative sessions available for makeup.
Overall, I find Tinkerlab provides an environment where children can develop both confidence and a keen interest in science.

We went to Tinkerlab because Jade was struggling with her open ended questions and overall science results. Mr Allan and Mdm Tan have been absolutely wonderful. Jade takes classes with Mr Allan and his lesson was always engaging yet effective. They allow the kids to have hands on experiments which further enhance the concepts and nurture a love for the subject. Outside of lesson, when I need help while revising with Jade, Mr Allan was always there to help and coach me as a parent on helping her with her revision. Notes provided are comprehensive and very exam focus, and easy for revision. He is committed to helping her improve. Jade joined tinker lab when she was pri4 with a al 4 grade and left Tinkerlab with a PSLE grade of AL1 – confident and loving the subject.

Tinkerlab was being highly recommended to me by a friend. Science is never an easy
Tinkerlab was being highly recommended to me by a friend. Science is never an easy subject due to answers have to be answered “scientifically” and not the English comprehension way. Being in Tinkerlab for 2 years, it has been proven that Tinkerlab has not disappointed me at all with Zach scoring A*s consistently for his P3 SA2, P4 SA1 and SA2! He understands how to answer the questions the science way and has definitely proven that this choice was mine was never wrong! Leroy’s science result has been stagnant at AL5. At the end of his P5 term
