My 3 sons were with Tinkerlab and have all scored As in Science for their PSLE
Thanks to Mr Allan and Mdm Tan’s engaging and effective teaching methods
I have seen the 3 of them struggled with the subject and especially with higher primary science syllabus (esp section B of the paper!)
But the lessons were clear and so engaging that they not only improved but looked forward to the classes
I find the notes exceptionally useful especially for last mile revisions

Whenever we have any questions on science, we would be able to clarify our doubts with the teacher. The teacher would not give us short answers to our questions, but instead give us a detailed explanation and would make sure we understood the problem. The teachers there are very nice and patient with students who are struggling with their science. they also teach very good answering techniques on science open ended, which helped me a lot during my science examinations. They go through every single mistake that the students make and make sure that we do not have any doubts after we leave the classroom. The teachers there are very hardworking and cool.

Tinkerlab was being highly recommended to me by a friend. Science is never an easy subject due to answers have to be answered “scientifically” and not the English comprehension way. Being in Tinkerlab for 2 years, it has been proven that Tinkerlab has not disappointed me at all with Zach scoring A*s consistently for his P3 SA2, P4 SA1 and SA2! He understands how to answer the questions the science way and has definitely proven that this choice was mine was never wrong! Keep up the great work Tinkerlab and would highly recommend here if your child needs science tuition…

They are always eager to attend his lessons and his jokes during lessons helped them connect to certain topics mentioned during class. Mdm Tan is very patient and experienced. The lessons were fun and enjoyable. Sin Tian was taught the proper way of answering open ended questions. There are also opportunities to practise multiple choice questions online. Sin Tian has gained a lot after attending Mdm Tan lessons. She scored A* in this year’s PSLE for her science. Both Mdm Tan & Mr. Allan are good and patient Teachers.
Mr Allan is good in making the 2hrs of lessons interesting and with some experiments to enhance the understanding. The explanation is concise and easy to understand. My son gained confidence and interest in the subject under teacher Allan’s coaching. He is passionate in teaching and he also replies us via whatsapps whenever we have queries! Really appreciate it 👍

With engaging hands-on practices and inspiring teachers, her like for Science improved, and it showed in her recent exam where she got A! I would say Allan’s teaching method works!
