We went to Tinkerlab because Jade was struggling with her open ended questions and overall science results. Mr Allan and Mdm Tan have been absolutely wonderful. Jade takes classes with Mr Allan and his lesson was always engaging yet effective. They allow the kids to have hands on experiments which further enhance the concepts and nurture a love for the subject. Outside of lesson, when I need help while revising with Jade, Mr Allan was always there to help and coach me as a parent on helping her with her revision. Notes provided are comprehensive and very exam focus, and easy for revision. He is committed to helping her improve. Jade joined tinker lab when she was pri4 with a al 4 grade and left Tinkerlab with a PSLE grade of AL1 – confident and loving the subject.

My son found Mr. Allan’s lessons enjoyable and helpful in aiding him understand the concepts! He encouraged his brother to sign up for Tinklelab lessons after attending them too!

Mr Allan is a fun teacher who makes jokes almost every lesson but makes sure we stay focus on our work despite his impossible-not-to-laugh jokes. During lesson time, Mr Allan also has science related toys based on the topic and allows us to play and learn how the toys work. His experiments during lesson time is also fun and he has almost every equipment you need to complete an experiment. Tinkerlab is the right place to go if you want to learn science in a fun way!

Science has always been one of Shireen’s favourite subjects ever since she came into Mr Allan’s class. She is constantly telling us how engaging and fun the lessons are and we are thankful she has developed such passion for science. Once again, thank you.

Madam Tan is patient, kind & understanding towards the student’s needs. Whenever a student needs help, she will try her best to explain in order for the student to understand the lesson’s contents. Madam Tan is also willing to help with questions beyond class time ie responding to messages after class. She also goes above & beyond in providing mentorship regarding school placement. She has helped my kid not only improve greatly in science, but also grasp a better understanding of concepts. Overall, kudos to Madam Tan.

My 3 older children attended Tinkerlab and did very well for their PSLE Science. My 4th child is attending now and is always looking forward to the interesting and engaging lesson. Thanks much to Mdm Tan and Mr Allan for their dedication.

Prior to attending Mr Allan’s lessons, my girl didn’t like science and was not doing well. Our priority was to get her interested in the subject. She loves Mr Allan’s lessons – always fun and engaging. And she is always looking forward to the experiments. Now she likes Science. The bonus – she scored AL2 in EYE. We are really thankful. By the way, we really love how organized the files are and the detailed feedback given on her school assessments. 🙂

My two kids attended lessons with Mr Allan. He has his ways with kids to engage them in a fun way. They are always eager to attend his lessons and his jokes during lessons helped them connect to certain topics mentioned during class.
